Job Description

The Senior Manager, Business Analyst partners with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify improvement opportunities, and support transformation initiatives through process optimization, automation, and digital capabilities. The role requires good process discovery, transformation consulting, stakeholder management, GenAI use case development, and execution discipline. They will lead completion of cost-benefit analysis and support design of future state.

Key Responsibilities

Business Discovery, Client Management & Stakeholder Consulting

Partner with business leaders, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, business challenges, operational pain points, and growth opportunities. Build trusted relationships across teams, facilitate discovery discussions, and proactively identify opportunities to improve business performance, customer experience, and operational effectiveness through process improvements, automation, and digital capabilities.

Process Analysis & Opportunity Identification

Lead current-state assessments through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, data analysis, and journey mapping to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, risks, and root causes. Evaluate and prioritize AI based improvement opportunities, develop problem statements, and recommend transformation initiatives based on business value, feasibility, strategic alignment, and expected outcomes.

Automation & Digital Capability Assessment

Assess business processes and operational workflows to identify opportunities where AI based automation, digital tools, analytics, and emerging technologies can improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and user experience. Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate solution options, define requirements, assess impacts, and support future-state process and capability design.

Business Case Development & Benefit Realization

Develop business cases, value assessments, success metrics, and outcome measurement frameworks to support investment decisions and transformation initiatives. Establish benefit realization plans, monitor performance against objectives, and provide leadership with actionable insights on business impact, adoption, operational improvements, and value delivery.

Stay current on GenAI trends, responsible AI, data privacy, model risk, information security, compliance, and governance expectations. Contribute reusable frameworks and playbooks.

Facilitate alignment across business, operations, and technology teams while promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and sustainable business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree / Master's Degree with 10 - 15 years of total experience
Extensive Experience in Gen AI: A deep understanding of Gen AI processes and operations is crucial. Practical exposure to GenAI use cases such as knowledge assistants, document summarization, research assistants, workflow copilots, content generation, insight extraction, or decision support.
Intelligent Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with Intelligent Automation and its application in asset management, process mining, AI-enabled decisioning, and low-code/no-code automation.

Awareness of responsible AI, data privacy, model limitations, prompt design, human-in-the-loop controls, and AI governance.

Documentation and Template Creation: Strong skills in creating comprehensive documentation and templates.
Process Simplification: Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate them effectively.
Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Continuous Improvement: Aptitude for identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes.

Industry Trends Awareness: Staying updated with industry trends and incorporating best practices into asset management processes.

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
