Job Description
- Support and enhance NetGuardian alias VYNTRA UAM (Unusual Access Monitoring Platform) platform, a web-based system hosted on a RED Hat Linux server.
- Act as the bridge between vendor release practices and internal change management processes, ensuring compliant and smooth deployments.
- Perform and orchestrate end-to-end solution delivery: feasibility analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Product & Domain Expertise
- Manage multiple UAM subject areas, including:
- Sourcing application logs from the Bank’s upstream systems.
- Data analytics and Machine Learning.
- String Python programming knowledge (mandatory).
- VYNTRA application knowledge is an added advantage
- Analyze vendor release notes and security advisories, aligning upgrades with enterprise risk, security and compliance requirements,
Technical Competencies
- Develop and maintain UAM application within a vendor-proprietary development framework
- Write and optimize SQL queries, including
- Query design and performance tuning.
- Execution plan analysis.
- Database administration activities including backup and restore operations, and adherence to security best practices.
- Design and deliver reports and dashboard in accordance with business requirements
- Perform performance tuning across application, database and reporting layers.
- Develop batch and shell scripts for automation, data integration, and ETL processes.
- Provide inputs for compute and storage capacity planning based on usage trends and system metrics
Operational & Platform Responsibilities
- Support application infrastructure on Linux Server, ensuring system stability, availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, implementing both short-term fixes and long-term solutions.
- Conduct low-level performance diagnostics across application, database, and reporting layers.
- Oversee application upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and risk-controlled deployments.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of 2-3 developers.
- Define, implement, and enforce development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, upstream source applications teams, infrastructure and security teams, and vendor partners.
- Track and manage change requests, ensuring alignment with governance and delivery timelines
Business & Analytical Skills
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Ensure technical delivery aligns with organizational risk, compliance, and governance objectives.
- Deliver actionable insights through data analysis, reporting, and capacity forecasting.
- Ensure systems comply with security, regulatory, and operational standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and business intelligence development, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing complex ETL processes using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Demonstrable experience with at least one leading BI visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) for dashboard and report development.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
