Downer has an exciting opportunity for motivated Driver Operators to join our Dunedin team. Whether you're a Class 2, 4 or 5 licence holder, we want to hear from people who enjoy a mix of driving, operating equipment, and getting stuck in alongside the crew.

You'll be an important part of our operations team, supporting a range of maintenance, civil, and infrastructure projects across the region. When you're not behind the wheel, you'll be assisting with general labouring tasks, site setup, traffic management support, and project delivery activities.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring

Full Class 2, 4 or 5 Driver Licence
A strong work ethic and willingness to get involved with labouring tasks
Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Highly desirable

Civil construction, maintenance, or infrastructure experience
Excavator operating experience
Experience with Concrete & Asphalt Work
Carpentry skills highly regardedwork
W, T, and R endorsements
Experience operating plant and machinery
Experience working outdoors in physically demanding environments
