At the Craven County Jail, you'll work alongside a dedicated healthcare team providing essential medical care while enjoying a structured 35-hour-per-week rotating schedule.

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care and treatment to patients within the facility
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Perform assessments and respond to patient healthcare needs
Monitor and document patient conditions and care
Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs
Promote a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment
Follow all facility and company policies and procedures

QualificationsWhat You Bring

Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina
Current CPR certification
Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
Commitment to providing professional, compassionate patient care
