The Opportunity
We are looking for a Retail Store Manager who is an experienced, customer-focused leader to manage store operations, resources, and staff while achieving sales, service, safety, and budget goals. This is an opportunity to lead a retail team, develop employees, and support the Goodwill Central Coast mission.

- Ability to train, coach, evaluate, and develop employees according to Company policy.
QualificationsWhat You'll Do
Maximize store sales by providing customers with a high level of service and using sound merchandising and display techniques.
Maintain accountability for cash register operations, monies received, daily bank deposits, sales receipts, and inventory; ensure protection of assets from internal or external losses.
Recommend and implement the store annual budget and manage operations to meet budget goals.
Ensure the store is properly staffed during hours of operation and supervise staff, including selection, promotion, demotion, discipline/termination, training, performance appraisal, and salary recommendations, according to Company policy.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Perform sales associate duties as required and represent Goodwill Central Coast at local community events or organizations.
Develop a safe work environment through staff training, periodic safety communication, and safety inspections.
Complete required paperwork, process employee payroll, and maintain confidentiality in personnel-related functions and procedures.
Ensure clients assigned to the store are trained according to program parameters.
Ensure timely placement and display of inventory on the sales floor, following defined procedures.
Maintain store housekeeping, safety, and security; report needed repairs, problems, and hazards immediately.
Manage the retail store interface with the transportation department to ensure efficient flow of product, salvage, and trash.
