About the Job
The Business Development Representative supports the Process Liquid Solutions territory pod by creating qualified pipeline, expanding catalog liquid revenue , and maintaining CRM and commercial operations discipline, freeing the Process Liquid Solutions, Technical Sales Executive to spend more time on high-value consultative selling and closing. This includes building target account lists and executing outbound prospecting campaigns, qualifying and routing custom cGMP opportunities to the Technical Sales Executive while owning and closing lower-complexity, repeat-business catalog opportunities directly, supporting channel partner relationships and lead follow-up, and maintaining accurate Salesforce data across accounts, contacts, and pipeline. This is a fully remote role with no travel required.

Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Quotes, Orders, And CRM Data Accurately And On Schedule.

Willingness And Aptitude To Quickly Learn The Custom Liquids Manufacturing Process, Including Buffer And Media Formulation And High-Purity Water Purification, To Support Effective Opportunity Qualification And Routing.

Responsibilities
Pipeline Creation
- •
- Build target account lists by geography, segment, and application, including regional prospecting for custom and GemPure lead opportunities within assigned territories.
- •
- Execute structured outbound prospecting campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) for both catalog and custom liquid opportunities.
- •
- Mine marketing data, including zip code report mining, to support regional marketing efforts and identify territory-level opportunities.
- •
- Convert marketing, channel, event, and website leads into qualified opportunities, including dormant account reactivation and cross-sell campaigns.
Channel Partner Support
- •
- Follow up on distributor and channel-sourced leads, ensuring they are visible in Salesforce and appropriately escalated and actioned (i.e., qualified, routed, or closed).
- •
- Support joint prospecting campaigns with channel partners.
- •
- Help decide whether an opportunity should be channel-led, GeminiBio-led, or jointly managed.
Qualification, Routing, and Closing (Revenue Attainment)
- •
- Qualify catalog, standard liquid, and custom liquid opportunities for fitness, urgency, stakeholder involvement, volume potential, and technical complexity.
- •
- Route qualified custom cGMP opportunities to the Process Liquid Solutions, Technical Sales Executive, and follow-up, sample follow-up, and reorder follow-up.
CRM and Commercial Operations
- •
- Maintain Salesforce data integrity, including account/contact completeness, stakeholder maps, and next steps.
- •
- Maintain and prune the Salesforce pipeline to ensure accurate, up-to-date opportunity and account data.
- •
- Track campaign conversion and document qualification details for every opportunity.
