JOB OVERVIEW
This role supports marketing delivery for a professional, service-based business operating in the Australian market. You will execute social media, content, email, and campaign activity that builds credibility, engagement, and leads, particularly across B2B and professional audiences. The role suits someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple marketing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media (Organic)
- Plan, write, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram (TikTok optional)
- Manage community engagement (comments, DMs, interactions)
- Maintain consistent brand voice and professional tone
- Support content calendars aligned with campaigns and business priorities
Social Media (Paid)
- Assist with Meta Ads (campaign setup, boosting, monitoring)
- Support basic optimisation and reporting (TikTok Ads optional)
Content & Copywriting
- Write clear, engaging copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and website content
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets
- Support thought leadership and professional brand positioning
- Email Marketing (eDMs)
- Build and schedule email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar
- Assist with segmentation, testing, and reporting
Basic Design & Asset Coordination
- Create simple graphics using Canva
- Coordinate with designers for more complex assets
Campaign & Marketing Support
- Assist in executing integrated campaigns (social, email, web, ads)
- Support website updates and basic SEO tasks
- Help coordinate marketing materials for events and promotions
Reporting
- Track performance across social, email, and campaigns
- Provide simple reports and insights for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Arts or related field
- 2-3 years in social media or marketing coordination
- Strong copywriting skills (Australian English)
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and content execution, especially for LinkedIn and professional audiences
Experience with Meta Ads
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
- Confidence using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite for basic content and design coordination
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
