Junior Bridge Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the structural design of bridge projects, including concrete, steel, and composite bridges.
• Perform basic structural analyses under supervision, including load calculations, modeling, and design checks.
• Review and validate drawings, models, and calculations to ensure compliance with bridge design codes (AASHTO, BS, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Support preparation of technical reports, design briefs, and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams (Geotechnical, MEP, Architectural, Construction) to ensure design integration.
• Learn and apply advanced bridge design software and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1–3 years of bridge design experience is required.
• Proficiency or familiarity with bridge design software (e.g., MIDAS Civil, LUSAS, SAP2000, CSI Bridge).
• Basic understanding of international bridge design codes (AASHTO LRFD, BS 5400, Eurocodes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn from senior engineers.
