R&D Senior Project Manager, Snowboard Bindings

About The Role
As our future  R&D Senior Project Manager, Snowboard Bindings , you will be in charge of piloting and monitoring the entire development process of our snowboard binding ranges from conception to production in our factories in Asia and managing the full development cycle plan each season.
The key areas of the role will focus on
Product Development & Project Leadership
- Lead the annual development of Salomon's snowboard binding range.
- Deliver market-ready samples and ensure successful product launches.
- Manage product projects from concept through industrialization.
- Coordinate innovation projects (2+ year horizon) and shorter-term product updates.
- Act as the primary interface with factories and industrialization teams.
- Ensure technical documentation, approvals, and manufacturing readiness.
Team & Collaboration
- Manage and support the CAD Developer.
- Foster stronger collaboration across teams.  Collaborating  internally with design and conception teams, Product Line Managers, Quality, Development and Supply teams
- Improve knowledge sharing and documentation practices.
- Help modernize ways of working and product development processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- You have a passion for snowboarding and a deep understanding of snowboard products and riding practices. Other snow sports or action sports experience is a strong advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience in product development.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Plastic injection molding & materials (plastics, metals) 
- Product design and development processes
- Manufacturing and industrialization
- Experience managing development projects from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Desired Qualifications
- Education : Engineering degree
- IT :  CAD literacy required (able to open, review, and validate designs). Comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Languages : English fluency, French a plus
