About The Role

As a Water/Wastewater Engineer, you’ll help shape the infrastructure that keeps cities running and people safe.
What You’ll Do
Design, lead, and manage projects involving treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
Collaborate with engineers, operators, and municipal clients to develop creative, cost-effective solutions.
Oversee project scopes, budgets, and schedules while mentoring junior staff.
Prepare reports, technical memoranda, and construction documents that reflect high standards of quality.
Complete construction administration tasks including coordination with contractors and clients, attending meetings, reviewing submittals and pay applications, and preparing punch list and closeout documents.
Engage with clients and communities to communicate technical ideas clearly and confidently.
Contribute to business development and proposal efforts as you grow into a trusted advisor.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater system design and project delivery.
- PE license or EIT actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience with AutoDesk tools and hydraulic/process modeling software.
- Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines and locations.
- Willingness to continue learning to fill different roles based on project needs that vary in breadth, depth, and subject matter.
- Willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently.
