In your new role as Executive Support Coordinator, you will provide financial analysis services including to deliver data-driven inputs informing business planning, support banking and treasury operations and undertake a broad range of administrative and support activity. This opportunity is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Accountabilities include, but not limited to

Collect, compile and validate financial data and with direction, provide a range of financial analysis and information to support business operations assessment and for forecast, budget and business planning purposes

Monitor the status of bank balances and undertake basic cashflow analysis

With instruction, execute funding arrangements, internal fund transfers and related records management

For parents company and external parties, undertake a range of information collation, provision and reporting, ad hoc and to schedule, including but not limited to; for decision making, bank/ finance service provision purposes, account remediation and audit purposes

Support treasury operations, including such as through foreign exchange monitoring, risk assessment, planning and ordering/ booking

Undertake a broad range of general administration and support tasks, including but not limited to; facilitation of support for business planning, accounts processing, diary management, secretarial services, travel bookings, records management, etc.

May represent Kubota at relevant industry and community groups. Provide administrative and support services to membership-based organisations in which Kubota participates, such as the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Japanese Society

May undertake a broad range of basic accounting processes, including but not limited to; month-end processing, reconciliation, variance analysis (as required)

Undertake other duties within the limits of knowledge, skill and experience (as directed)

Ensure Policies and Procedures, including with respect to OHS are followed at all times. Take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of self and others within the workplace, escalating as appropriate

Requirements

To be successful in this role, your resume would likely include

Tertiary qualification Accounting/ Finance (strongly desired) or commensurate experience

Current Victorian driver's license and access to reliable transport

Significant experience in a similar Officer/ Coordinator level position providing financial analysis services. Exposure to banking and treasury operations

Experience gained within a Japanese corporate or multinational Japanese organisation, experience preferably within a product based distribution entity

Native-level Japanese proficiency, with fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written) (Strongly desired)

Highly developed numerical capability and attention to detail

Strong general administration competency

Well developed general business acumen and financial business planning exposure

Highly developed organisation and prioritisation skill

Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional and productive working relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners

Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Advanced general computing skills, including across the Google Suite/ MS Office particularly Sheet/ Excel
