About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Architect to design and lead complex cloud and on-premises data architectures , ensuring scalability, security, governance, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements. The role will focus on data integration, data quality, master data management, data governance, and data lineage , working across both modern cloud platforms and existing on-premises environments. Key Responsibilities Design and define complex Informatica-based data architectures across cloud and on-premises environments. Lead the architecture and integration strategy for enterprise data platforms. Define and implement data governance frameworks , including data cataloguing, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality. Work with business, data, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable architectural solutions. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across data integration and data management initiatives. Ensure data architectures comply with relevant data protection and AI regulations , including GDPR and the EU AI Act . Contribute to the definition of architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies. Assess existing data environments and recommend improvements, modernisation, and migration strategies. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Developers, and other technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with the Informatica ecosystem , particularly: Informatica PowerCenter Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) / IICS Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Master Data Management (MDM) CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) / Data Catalog Data Lineage and Metadata Management Cloud and on-premises data architecture Governance & Regulatory Knowledge Solid understanding of data governance and data management principles . Experience with data lineage, data cataloguing, metadata, and data quality frameworks . Knowledge of data protection and regulatory requirements, particularly GDPR . Awareness of the EU AI Act and its implications for data and AI governance.
