About The Role

  • Supervise electrical and instrumentation construction activities at the project site.
  • Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements and work packages.
  • Plan and allocate daily activities to electricians, instrument technicians and subcontractors.
  • Supervise cable tray installation, cable pulling, glanding, termination and testing.
  • Monitor the installation of electrical panels, transformers, switchgear, motors, lighting and earthing systems.
  • Supervise the installation of field instruments, junction boxes, control panels, impulse tubing and instrument air piping.
  • Ensure equipment and materials comply with approved project specifications.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, piping, QA/QC and commissioning teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed according to approved ITPs.
  • Support instrument calibration, loop checking, functional testing and commissioning.
  • Monitor daily progress and ensure activities are completed according to schedule.
  • Prepare daily reports, manpower records and material requirements.
  • Identify technical issues and coordinate with engineering teams for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous-area and explosion-protection requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures.
  • Coordinate inspection requests with QA/QC, the client and consultants.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship.
  • Assist with punch-list clearance, as-built drawings and project handover.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in E&I construction and commissioning.
  • Minimum five years of Oil & Gas project experience.
  • UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
  • ADNOC project experience will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation standards.
  • Experience with DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA, F&G and control systems.
  • Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, P&IDs and hook-up drawings.
  •  
  • Knowledge of hazardous-area classifications and Ex equipment.
  • Familiarity with PTW, LOTO and Oil & Gas safety requirements.
  • Strong supervisory, communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to lead multicultural teams and work under project deadlines.
