About The Role

UTA seeks a Business Affairs Assistant – Music in our Beverly Hills office. The position offers a valuable opportunity to learn about the music industry and business affairs, work with industry lawyers and executives, and gain exposure to many aspects of touring. Candidates must have the ability to operate in a highly collaborative environment, have experience in legal and/or business operations, the ability to manage a high volume of emails, and work across various departments and time zones, and understand the entertainment industry.This is a full-time position with benefits and will pay $23 per hour.What You Will DoContract Administration – Assist Music Business Affairs team with reviewing and redlining live performance agreements for music and comedy clients; proactively identify and communicate issues to agent teams in a clear and timely manner.Drafting – Support the drafting of various internal and external documents for clients and business partners within the Music and Comedy departments across UTA’s global offices.Project Management – Maintain and enhance project management systems; organize and classify files to ensure efficient archival and retrieval processes.Administrative – Coordinate, schedule, and prepare for internal and external meetings; manage and organize calendars; handle and transfer calls; manage and distribute incoming mail and noticesWhat You Will Need1+ year of administrative experience, ideally in a law firm, studio, or agency; relevant internship experience will be considered.Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.Ability to work collaboratively and liaise with internal staff at all levels, external client attorneys & other external music industry associates.Capable of managing several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.Highly professional with excellent judgment and ability to recognize and respect confidential information.Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proactive with a positive attitude and willing to “be a team player”.General business knowledge, including an understanding of business email etiquette, and interest in the entertainment and music business.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word, as well as Adobe applications and internet research.What You Will GetThe unique and exciting opportunity to work at one of a leading global entertainment companiesAccess to the tools, leadership, and resources you will need to create and drive a center of excellenceThe opportunity to do the best work of your careerWork in an inclusive and diverse company cultureCompetitive programs to support your well-beingExperience working in a collaborative environment with room to growAbout UTAUTA is a premier global talent agency built for the future of media and entertainment.
