If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.What to ExpectAs an Industrial Design Intern, you’ll work closely with our industrial design and engineering teams on Memo, our home robot. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real product development—not just concept <work.You>’ll play a key role throughout the design process—from early brainstorming and concept development to design refinement and getting the product mass-production ready. We’re looking for someone who is excited about robot design, passionate about physical products, and curious about what the future of living with robots could look like.Duration of Internship: September through December What You’ll DoWork closely with industrial designers and engineers to develop concepts and deliver thoughtful design solutionsParticipate in design reviews and iterate based on feedbackBe proactive in voicing and sharing your ideas, and bring them to life through sketch and CADBuild and iterate physical prototypes using 3D printing and other prototyping methodsContribute to CMF development and explorationWork with vendors and manufacturing partners to evaluate samples and prototypesWhat You’ll BringStrong foundation in sketching, form development, and 3D modelingProficiency in Rhino, SolidWorks, Onshape, or similar CAD toolsExperience with 3D printing and hands-on prototypingExperience with KeyShot or other rendering toolsGood aesthetic judgment and strong attention to detailCollaborative and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to designCurious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentExcited about robotics, consumer products, and the future of technology in the homeAt Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people — curious, creative, and diverse.
