Production General Laborer 2nd Shift

Key Duties/Responsibilities

This position will rotate general laborer positions including stacker, scaler, block handler for breaks and lunches or as directed.

• Completes tasks for the job that this position is rotating into for a short period of time
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Performs other related duties as requested

Stacker

• Sort patties as they come off conveyor belt
• stack patties neatly in designated boxes to weight specification
• Repetitive movements in a fast paced environment for long periods of time

Scaler

• Check and adjust box weights as needed
• Ensure plastic liners completely and securely cover the completed care prior to taping
• May conduct box count checks
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and operation.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

• Basic math, language, and reading skills
• Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain a single task focus and situational awareness
• Must be able to move and lift up to 60-pound wooden skid or pallet
• Able to work in a cold refrigerated environment for up to 10 hours.
