Supplier Quality Manager

• We’re currently hiring Supplier Quality Manager to strengthen our Supplier Quality team .
• Regional responsibility, ideally the role will be based in Spain / Denmark.
• In this role, you’ll ensure our global suppliers deliver to the highest quality standards, driving performance, compliance, and supplier development across your assigned geography.
• Your responsibilities

• Own and lead the quality performance of suppliers within your region.
• Conduct and maintain supplier quality system audits , ensuring full compliance and continuous improvement.
• Develop corrective and preventive action plans and ensure effective follow-up.
• Oversee and execute inspection activities , coordinating with third-party service providers when needed.
• Monitor inspection efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including supplier back-charges as per SLAs.
• Lead Corrective Action Reporting (CAR) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) processes based on supplier non-conformance reports.
• Partner with Procurement and Service Line Managers on supplier development initiatives .
• Collaborate with our Quality team in GBC India to support quality dossier reviews.
• Implement and ensure compliance with global quality policies , KPIs, and best practices.
• Contribute to global quality initiatives to promote standardization and excellence across FLSmidth.
• Report directly to the Manager, Supplier Quality Management (RoW) .

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years’ Managerial experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Control in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality Management processes , technical documentation, and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.
• Broad understanding of production processes — experience with Heavy Fabrication, Casting, Forging.

• Salary range: 700,000 - 930,000 DKK
