Senior Associate - Process Optimisation
Hayfin Capital Management · Remote, England, United Kingdom
About The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Associate, focused on Process Optimisation, to drive operational excellence and operating‑model transformation at Hayfin: a growing alternative asset manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from consulting into a high‑impact in‑house role.
Working within the Technology function and reporting to the Head of Business Architecture, you will apply structured improvement and operating‑model principles to help build a scalable, cost‑effective, and well‑controlled target‑state platform. You’ll join a small, high‑performing team that delivers innovative solutions across core business processes and systems, enhances data and analytics capabilities, and develops intellectual property that differentiates Hayfin in the market.
Responsibilities
Assess current‑state processes and data flows to identify inefficiencies, scalability constraints, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Define and implement process and operating‑model enhancements that support business growth, consistency, and long‑term sustainability.
Lead end‑to‑end improvement initiatives, ensuring changes are embedded and measurable benefits are realised.
Cultivate a continuous‑improvement mindset across Investor Relations & Fundraising, Investment teams, and internal functions, reducing silos and strengthening cross‑team collaboration.
Translate business needs into clear system and data requirements, supporting effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
Lead key transformation initiatives, including business‑case development, project planning, and driving complex change through to successful implementation.
Own and maintain core process artefacts: such as the process framework, process maps, and data dictionary - to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability.
Build strong partnerships across business and technology teams to align process, data, and operating‑model changes with strategic objectives.
Requirements
Proven track record in business analysis and process optimisation, ideally gained within a management consultancy environment.
5–7 years’ management consultancy experience in Financial Services, with a strong personal interest in growing a Private Credit specialism.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Self-starter with strong delivery ownership, able to operate autonomously and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
Experience applying structured process improvement methodologies, with working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
