We are looking for a Master Android Developer to work with us serving one of the major American investment client.

This position requires living in Campinas to work on site every day.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CI&T team to meet the demands of a client in the financial sector.
  • Perform agile deployments, ensuring the quality and stability of the product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement enhancements and bug fixes to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code to support our applications' ongoing development and maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.

Requirements for this challenge

  • Previous experience working as a Tech Lead;
  • Previous experience as an Android Developer using Java and Kotlin;
  • Solid experience with Kotlin language and coding conventions.
  • Knowledge of dependency injection technique with Dagger or Hilt;
  • Knowledge of software architectural patterns like REST, MVVM, MVC, and Clean;
  • Experience in unit testing with JUnit and automated UI testing, with Espresso.
  • Familiarity with componentization of interface elements and basic knowledge of Material Design.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose for building UI components.
  • Experience with code versioning using Git and familiarity with Git Flow working with multiple teams.
  • Knowledge/Experience working in a mature CI/CD environment with GitHub Actions;
  • Conversational English Level

Nice to have

  • Experience migrating from Java to Kotlin in Android apps.
  • Experience migrating from single-module to multi-module architecture.
  • Experience supporting QA Engineers with E2E Automation with Appium.
  • Feature toggles and trunk-based development experience.
  • Some experience with Node.js or reading and understanding Node applications.
  • Desired experience with Adobe tools such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, AEM, etc.
