Virtual Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LICSW, LMHC)

Position: Full-Time

• Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We’re hiring independently licensed therapists in Rhode Island to provide virtual mental health care to clients from the comfort of a remote setting. Eligible licenses include LMFT, LICSW, and LMHC .

You’ll spend your day meeting with clients, understanding what they’re working through, and helping them make steady progress toward their goals. The role is best suited for a clinician who is confident working independently, values thoughtful client relationships, and stays organized with documentation and follow-up care.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients through secure video sessions and provide ongoing therapeutic support
• Complete initial evaluations and identify areas that need clinical attention
• Work with clients to set realistic goals and shape a plan for treatment
• Use therapeutic approaches that fit each client’s needs, concerns, and progress
• Keep session notes and clinical records accurate and up to date
• Watch for changes in risk or safety and respond according to established procedures
• Maintain client privacy and follow Rhode Island licensing, ethical, and HIPAA requirements

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island independent license ( LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC ) in good standing
• Master’s degree in an aligned behavioral health field
• Experience providing outpatient therapy services
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and professional communication
• Ability to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
