Precision Imaging Centers is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team in Orlando. This role will begin as a PRN position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the center continues to expand.

Schedule: This position will begin as PRN with flexible shifts available based on coverage needs. Shift lengths may include 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.

As patient volume grows, this role is expected to transition into a full-time position with a consistent schedule.

What You’ll Do As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and care, ensuring a safe, supportive, and comfortable experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality mammography images
  • Perform daily QC and QA checks on mammography equipment
  • Complete patient documentation in the RIS system
  • Identify and address scheduling or workflow issues as they arise

Additional Expectations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department
  • Collaborate in a respectful, fast-paced team environment
  • Remain compliant with ACR standards and MQSA regulations
  • Uphold the Radiologic Technologist Code of Ethics
  • Assist with workflow improvements and patient experience initiatives

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification in Mammography
  • Florida State License
  • MQSA compliant (Digital and 3D Mammography)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience preferred
  • Patient-focused, proactive, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to assist patients with limited mobility
  • Frequent bending and reaching for proper patient positioning
