About The Role

Cohu is a global technology leader supplying test, automation, inspection and metrology products and services to the semiconductor industry. This non-exempt position is a key member of the Software Quality Assurance team. The SQA Engineer II will improve the quality and reliability of software for complex electro-mechanical automation and robotics systems through system-level testing, work-product reviews, process audits, and data-driven quality improvement. The SQA Engineer II works independently using solid testing knowledge; owns test deliverables for features or subsystems; understands software and hardware interaction; coordinates multiple projects; and trains engineers and technicians in established practices. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
