Human Resources Business Partner

Reporting to the Manager of Labour Relations and Human Resources, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to management, providing broad HR support with a strong focus on labour relations. The HRBP oversees designated client groups and supports all stages of the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, project start-ups, operational expansions into new jurisdictions, workforce transitions, and project wind-down activities. The role includes workplace investigations, union engagement, grievance management, collective bargaining support, and the implementation of people strategies that support operational and organizational objectives. Occasional travel to various sites is required. The ideal candidate brings extensive labour relations experience, strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills, and the ability to support complex operational environments, including new business mobilizations, workforce transitions, and multi-jurisdictional operations.
