Mechatronic Design Engineer- Electronic packaging

• We are looking for an experienced Mechatronic Design Engineer to join our robotics team.
• The ideal candidate has a strong background in actuators, mechanisms, and dynamic robotic systems.
• This is a hands-on R&D role with real ownership from concept through detailed design and prototyping to production.

What you will actually do

• Lead mechanical development activities across the full product lifecycle, including concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, drawing release, manufacturing support, integration and field testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including electronics, manufacturing, Software, AI, and operations
• Manage technical interactions with suppliers and support component sourcing and manufacturing activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5+ years of experience in military packaging product design.
• Demonstrated experience with the design of products incorporating PCBs, wiring, harnesses, and connectors, including integrating motors, actuators, harnesses, and PCBs into military-grade packaging.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and lifecycle management processes.
• Experience performing thermal analysis.
• Experience performing finite element analysis (FEA).
• Solid understanding of GD&T and design for CNC, sheet metal, and plastic injection, with familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Eligible to work in Israel.

Nice to Have

• Strong proficiency in PTC Onshape CAD system.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD as a secondary design system.
