Nurse B - Clinical Nurse Educator

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is assigned responsibilities to support staff in delivering education requirements to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality patient care and to maintain system flow. The CNE will work collaboratively with other leaders and educators within the organization to provide education services consistent with overall program direction. Under the direction of the Acute Care (AC) Manager, the CNE integrates knowledge and skill reflective of the models of care and principles of adult learning in the provision of education, research, and quality client-centered care for patients. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client-centered care through identified education and/or programming.
