MAINTENANCE MECHANIC FLSA Status: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: This position’s responsibilities include: troubleshooting, providing diagnoses, and performing routine and corrective maintenance on shop equipment in order to support production lines and shop effort. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintain and repair production equipment, including but not limited to: welders and grinders 2. Repairs broken parts using hand tools and welding equipment properly in compliance with Company’s safety policies and procedures 3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose problems 4. Complete work orders as assigned 5. Complete installation of new equipment and provide other areas of improvement in line with facility’s maintenance plans
