About The Role
Job Summary Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company , is actively seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support industrial water and wastewater construction projects across Arizona. As one of the Southwest's leading industrial electrical contractors, IPS delivers complex electrical construction solutions for water and wastewater treatment facilities, manufacturing plants, energy, mining, food and beverage, and other industrial markets. This role is responsible for installing electrical systems on large-scale industrial projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities • Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, project teams, customers, and trade partners. • Produce high-quality work safely, accurately, and efficiently at all times. • Install and run high volumes of PVC, Rigid, GRC, and ROBROY conduit with clean, consistent workmanship. • Perform underground electrical installations, install panels and transformers, and complete terminations for distribution equipment and control systems. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings to ensure installations meet project requirements. • Operate aerial lifts and work safely at heights for extended periods. • Support apprentices by providing guidance, training, and quality workmanship. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Minimum Job Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of industrial electrical construction experience. • Water and wastewater project experience is preferred. • Strong conduit bending skills, including offsets, 90s, kicks, saddles, and complex bends. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). • Proven ability to work safely and productively in elevated work environments. • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work. • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Physical Requirements • Work up to 10- to 12-hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and elevated work platforms. • Lift, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds on a regular basis. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, and install materials. • Move throughout confined, cluttered, and uneven construction environments. • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, high-visibility vest, and steel-toed boots.
