Program Specialist

The Program Specialist is part of the College of Arts and Science, at Vanderbilt University, and is a key individual contributor responsible for general administrative duties of the Communication Studies Department, specifically the Debate Program. The primary responsibilities of the position include leading weekly debate meetings, overseeing the research and skill development of students, and coordinating practice debates. Reporting directly to the Administrative Officer in Calhoun Structure, and indirectly to the Debate Director(s), the position interacts with many faculty, students, and staff across campus. This position requires a thorough understanding University policies and procedures.
