Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborat ing with the Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand market problems, research on business solutions and to create the solution specification with emphasis on Requirement Engineering per IIBA best practices
• Collaborat ing with the Project Managers to plan and monitor delivery commitments across a complex delivery ecosystem
• Collaborat ing with the Scrum teams to execute the solution through build, test and deploy
• Actively engag ing and collaborat ing with all relevant stakeholders to learn from their experience and insights throughout the internship period
• Actively monitor ing and complet ing learning objectives to ensure coverage for the duration of the internship
• Actively participat ing in all training and development sessions

Requirements

• Must be c urrently pursuing a B achelor’s D egree in I nformation T echnology , Computer Science, or a related field
• Must possess foundational knowledge of Business Analysis and tools such as UML, BPMN etc.
• Must possess basic knowledge in UI/UX, Scrum and affinity for technology
• Must demonstrate a s trong problem-solving and analytical mindset, and attention to detail
• Must possess e xcellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-driven and a team player
