This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive based in Canada.

This is a full-cycle sales opportunity focused on growing new business across the Quebec <mid-market.You> will own the sales journey from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, close, and expansion.The role combines a strong hunter mentality with consultative selling and a deep interest in <cybersecurity.You> will build and manage a healthy pipeline while engaging decision-makers around business value and ROI.Working closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, you will help deliver a strong customer experience.Fluency in both English and French is essential for building trusted relationships across Quebec's diverse business landscape.This is an opportunity to make a direct commercial impact in a fast-moving, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.

Accountabilities

  • Own the full sales cycle across a defined Quebec territory, from prospecting and initial discovery through contract negotiation, close, and subsequent account expansion.
  • Sell cybersecurity solutions to mid-market organizations, with a focus on consistently achieving and exceeding annual recurring revenue targets.
  • Generate new business opportunities through disciplined, multi-channel prospecting, including outbound outreach, marketing-generated leads, referrals, and partner channels.
  • Build and maintain a sufficient sales pipeline to support revenue objectives, using structured qualification, prioritization, and time-management practices.
  • Identify customer needs, articulate ROI-driven value propositions, and engage stakeholders throughout complex buying processes.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support timely renewals and uncover opportunities for upselling and account expansion.
  • Represent customer and prospect needs internally, collaborating with Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to improve deal execution and revenue outcomes.
  • Adapt communication and sales approaches to customer preferences, regional expectations, and Quebec business practices.
  • Apply customer insights and market feedback to continuously improve sales execution, messaging, and account strategies.
  • Contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment where resources may be limited and individual ownership is highly valued.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience selling cybersecurity solutions or services.
  • 4+ years of experience in an individual contributor sales role.
  • Full professional fluency in both English and French, verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently generate pipeline through prospecting, marketing, referrals, partnerships, and other channels.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover customer needs and communicate compelling, ROI-focused business value.
  • Proven ability to execute a repeatable sales methodology while effectively managing priorities, sales cycles, and time.
  • Experience navigating customer buying processes and coordinating effectively with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and customer-insight skills, with the ability to use market and customer feedback to improve sales execution.
  • Ability to thrive in an early-stage or resource-constrained environment, demonstrating initiative, resilience, adaptability, and strong ownership.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, particularly when working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams.
  • Experience with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Command of the Sale methodologies is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Quebec's business culture and regulatory environment, including French-language business requirements such as Bill 96, is a plus.
