Netsuite Techno Functional Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Netsuite Techno Functional Consultant based in India.

This is a senior NetSuite consulting opportunity focused on delivering scalable ERP solutions aligned with complex business <requirements.You> will combine functional expertise with hands-on technical capabilities to configure, customize, integrate, and enhance NetSuite environments.The role covers SuiteScript development, UI customization, workflows, reporting, security, data management, and system <integrations.You> will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.The position offers significant ownership across solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing <maintenance.You> will also lead design discussions and help drive alignment and sign-off across technical and business <stakeholders.It> is well suited to an experienced NetSuite professional who can operate independently and take ownership of enterprise ERP initiatives.

Accountabilities

• Lead NetSuite ERP implementation, enhancement, customization, and maintenance activities across business-critical processes.
• Configure NetSuite according to business requirements, translating functional needs into scalable system solutions.
• Develop and implement NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript, including custom scripts, RESTlets, and workflows.
• Customize fields, page layouts, record types, reports, dashboards, and other NetSuite components to improve business usability and efficiency.
• Design and build custom objects and system components to address specific business requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external systems, ensuring reliable data exchange and system interoperability.
• Manage workflows and business rules to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Administer users, roles, permissions, security profiles, and access controls in accordance with business and security requirements.
• Manage mass data imports and exports while maintaining data quality and consistency.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Lead and facilitate design review sessions with IT teams and business stakeholders, incorporating feedback and securing appropriate sign-off.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations on NetSuite capabilities, customization approaches, and integration solutions.
• Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting while identifying opportunities to optimize system performance and functionality.

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional experience, with substantial hands-on experience working with NetSuite ERP.
• Strong experience with NetSuite ERP implementations and enterprise-scale customization projects.
• Proven expertise in NetSuite UI customization, SuiteScript, RESTlets, and workflows.
• Strong ability to configure NetSuite according to business requirements and translate functional needs into technical solutions.
• Experience customizing NetSuite fields, page layouts, record types, reports, dashboards, and related components.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite user, role, security, and profile administration.
• Experience managing large-scale data imports and exports within NetSuite.
• Experience designing and developing custom objects and system integration components.
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation and software development lifecycles.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly when leading design reviews and obtaining stakeholder approval.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive and ownership-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver solutions in a structured enterprise environment.
• Experience working in a quality-focused technology environment is advantageous.
