This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Oracle Infrastructure Maintenance Developer Mid-Level based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the modernization and ongoing enhancement of a business-critical grants management platform. You will develop and maintain applications with a strong focus on interoperability, reusability, security, and privacy. Working across Oracle, Java, SQL, and PL/SQL technologies, you will help deliver reliable and scalable software solutions. You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions. The position combines hands-on development with application maintenance and continuous improvement. It is well suited to an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working in a mission-focused environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise applications and related infrastructure, with a focus on modernization, interoperability, reusability, security, and privacy.
• Use Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL technologies to build and maintain reliable software solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other project personnel to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet functional and technical expectations.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes and enhancements.
• Contribute to system interfaces and integrations to ensure applications work effectively across connected platforms.
• Apply software engineering best practices to produce maintainable, scalable, secure, and high-quality code.
• Support ongoing application maintenance while contributing to strategic development and modernization initiatives.
• Participate in technical discussions and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve application development and maintenance practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, application development, or a closely related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java software development and enterprise application development.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle database technologies and PL/SQL programming.
• Strong SQL development and database querying skills.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing business-critical applications.
• Understanding of application interoperability, system interfaces, reusability, security, and privacy considerations.
• Technical training, professional certification, or a relevant degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex application issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute effectively within a distributed team.
• A proactive mindset focused on quality, continuous improvement, and reliable software delivery.
