Associate Product Manager

Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.Job OverviewWe are seeking an Associate Product Manager to contribute to the strategy, development, and delivery of cutting-edge autonomous maritime products. Reporting to a Product or Senior Product Manager, you’ll own a defined product area, carry distinct responsibilities, provide ongoing support to key Saronic products, and contribute to building and maintaining cross-Product team resources. This role is designed for junior product managers or hardware or software engineers looking to shift into product management. We will train your skills; we need your enthusiasm, organization, judgement, work ethic, comfort with ambiguity, and curiosity.ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy: Support the development of a comprehensive product strategy that is aligned to Saronic's vision and considerate of defense and commercial requirements. Analyze operational needs, market trends, competition, and user feedback to identify opportunities and drive product differentiation.Product Development: Dig deep with engineering, production, and mission operations teams to drive execution and push product development forward. Get underway on a ship, walk the production line, and sit with the software team to understand what’s happening and what needs to be done to move at speed.Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap for an initiative, product component, or other effort nested within the responsibilities of a Product Manager. Target both immediate success and integration into broader Saronic activities and priorities.Content Generation: Proactively generate content to provide updates and educate both internal and external stakeholders. Help non-technical audiences understand how our products work and the rationale behind our design choices.
