About The Role
UTA seeks a Business Affairs Assistant in our Business Affairs department supporting Creators and Television. This position provides administrative and contract administration support to two Business Affairs Executives and offers exposure to entertainment transactions, business affairs, and entertainment law.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced client-focused environment, and understands the entertainment industry. This position is based in Beverly Hills, California.This is a full-time position with benefits and will pay $25 per hour.What You Will DoManage complex calendars and coordinate internal and external meetings, both in-office and offsiteAnswer and route calls, take notes on deals and negotiations, and prepare meeting materials as neededSupport contract administration, including tracking deals, processing agreements, and maintaining contract recordsReview, proofread, summarize, and track client agreements under executive supervisionDraft correspondence, maintain precedent charts, prepare documents, and provide general administrative supportServe as a key point of contact for clients, agents, managers, attorneys, and executivesConduct research, compile information, and support special projectsStay informed on industry trends and business developmentsWhat You Will NeedJD requiredActive California Bar membership or eligibility to practice in another U.S. jurisdiction requiredAbility to review, analyze, and understand contractsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independentlyProfessional judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentialityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build relationships with senior executives, clients, attorneys, agents, and partnersStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and internet researchInterest in the film industry and entertainment businessExperience at a law firm, studio, network, agency, or entertainment company is preferredWhat You Will GetThe unique and exciting opportunity to work at one of a leading global entertainment companiesAccess to the tools, leadership, and resources you will need to create and drive a center of excellenceThe opportunity to do the best work of your careerWork in an inclusive and diverse company cultureCompetitive programs to support your well-beingExperience working in a collaborative environment with room to growAbout UTAUTA is a premier global talent agency built for the future of media and entertainment.
