You should think in terms of process efficiency, data integrity, and user adoption — not just ticket resolution. You will own the deployment of solutions and modules from end-to-end: from scoping and design through development, testing, and continuous improvement in productionKey Responsibilities:Serve as the primary developer and administrator for the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise environmentDevelop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLsBuild and manage Flow Designer flows, Subflows, and Actions to automate IT and business processesAdminister Update Sets and manage change promotion across Dev, Test, and Production environmentsDesign and deploy IntegrationHub spokes and spoke actions to automate workflows with enterprise identity, patch management, and monitoring platforms/toolsBuild and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with internal systems and third-party toolsConfigure and mature the Change Management module including change models, approval workflows, CAB automation, and risk assessment policiesMature and maintain the CMDB including Discovery schedules, normalization rules, CI relationships, and data reconciliationManage Hardware Asset Management Pro configurations including asset lifecycle stages, disposal workflows, and reportingAdminister and optimize Discovery, MID Server configurations, and Service Mapping for infrastructure visibilityDesign, build, and maintain Service Catalog items and Record Producers to expand self-service capabilitiesContinuously improve the end-user experience through portal customization and feedback-driven iterationEnforce Access Control Lists (ACLs) and role-based access controls (RBAC) to protect sensitive dataPartner with IT leadership and process owners to gather requirements and deliver scalable platform solutionsDocument technical designs, integration architecture, and operational runbooksProvide Tier 3 support and serve as the escalation point for platform-related incidentsRequired Qualifications:3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experienceProficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and server-side and client-side scripting within ServiceNowDemonstrated experience with ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service CatalogDemonstrated experience deploying ITOM modules: Discovery, CMDB, MID Server, and Service MappingExperience configuring Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management modulesPractical experience building automations using Flow Designer or Workflow EditorFamiliarity with REST/SOAP integration concepts and ServiceNow integration patternsStrong understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow functionalityAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)Experience with IntegrationHub including custom spoke developmentHands-on experience with CMDB governance and CSDM maturity initiativesFamiliarity with IT security and compliance frameworks relevant to defense contracting such as CMMC or NIST SP 800-171Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)Exposure to Performance Analytics, reporting, and KPI dashboard developmentExperience in a defense, federal, or highly regulated IT environmentBenefits:Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of servicesSaronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependentsDental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision careSaronic pays 100% of the premium under the basic plan for employees and 80% for dependentsTime Off: Generous PTO and HolidaysParental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parentsCompetitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonusesRetirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company matchStock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s successLife and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coveragePet Insurance: Discounted pet insurance options including 24/7 Telehealth helplineAdditional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office Saronic CCPA Notice for Candidates and California Employees If this role is based in the United States, it requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
