Patient Access Specialist (Per Diem) #3456

• RAMC is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to join us!
• This position would be at our Physicians Group Clinic!
• Schedule: Varies with needs! Working as needed, on a flexible basis!
• Hours: Shift times fall between: 7AM-7 PM

What you'll do

• The Patient Access Specialist arranges for the efficient and orderly registration and scheduling of patients throughout the Physician's Group Clinic.
• Gather information from the patient as they check in for their appointment and enter it into the database.
• Performs clerical and reception duties associated with registration.

Education and Training Required

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience working in a hospital or other medical environment is preferred.

• Good organizational Skills
• Good Time Management
• Excellent hand-written and oral communication skills, grammar, punctuation, and style
• Ability to work independently
• Resourceful; is aware of and utilizes the available resources
• Basic Computer knowledge

• Continuously sits at a desk
• Frequently stands to perform tasks
• Occasionally push/pull with up to 50 pounds
