Your Impact

Join Entain Group Internal Audit as part of the ANZ team, gaining broad exposure across the business while developing your career in internal audit. You’ll support the delivery of audits, providing assurance over the design and operation of internal controls, working with management to identify improvements in the risk management approach.

As part of a global function, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to audits beyond ANZ, gaining valuable international exposure across different markets and business areas.This role is well suited to someone with audit and risk management credentials looking to build on a strong foundation within a global, fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life

Based in Sydney or Brisbane, this full-time role offers a flexible hybrid model balancing in-office collaboration with the freedom to work from home. The role is highly varied and includes occasional travel within Australia, New Zealand and internationally, creating unique opportunities for collaboration and business-wide impact. Here’s a snapshot of your day:

Support the delivery of Group-wide audits with a primary focus on ANZ, from planning through to reporting and follow-up.

Deliver quality, risk-based work across the audit planning, risk assessment, testing and reporting cycle.

Produce clear, high-quality findings with actionable, value-adding recommendations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, professional standards, risk & compliance and governance frameworks.

Support multiple projects, including ad hoc, strategic, and occasional cross-regional audits.

Develop key stakeholder relationships across ANZ and Group businesses and functions.

Your Strengths

• Experience in internal or external audit, ideally anchored within the profession and with exposure to larger and complex environments.
• Progressing towards, or willing to obtain, a professional qualification (CIIA, CISA or similar).
• Solid understanding of risk, control and governance frameworks.
• Commercial awareness, with the ability to apply insights in a practical way.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
• Clear and concise communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Collaborative and self-motivated professional who enjoys working independently.
