About The Role

LTI is a privately-owned daycare in Helsinki. We take care of children from 9 months up to 5 years of
age. We have a maximum of 15 children in LTI-Tapaninvainio.
You will be working with another educarer. As we are a small daycare, cleaning of the daycare is a
shared responsibility amongst all staff members.
Your responsibilities include, but not exclusive to, taking care of the children, planning and assisting in
age-appropriate activities for our little tots. You are also responsible for the maintenance of your designated daycare branch such as its cleanliness and up-to-date resources.
We are inspired by Magda Gerber's Educaring approach. We hope that you are familiar with this
approach and is open to practicing this specific childcare approach.
You must be fluent and confident in speaking as well as writing in English. We hope that you are able
to understand a little bit of Finnish, but this is not a requirement.
You must have the proper qualifications and experience for this position. We will only contact those
who meet our requirements.
Working with children requires an extract from criminal records according to Criminal Records Act
(770/1993) 6 § 2 mom.
