About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Software Engineer with 2 - 3 yrs of experience who does more than just write firmware.

You will bridge the gap between low-level hardware and high-level operating systems, writing C/C++ code for microcontroller platforms, using Python to build automated tests, and troubleshooting system-level integration issues across Android and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embedded Development: Write, maintain, and optimize clean, reliable firmware/software in C/C++ for microcontrollers, Unit testing , Generating proper Documentation.
  • System Integration & Diagnostics: Support end-to-end system testing, troubleshoot software-to-hardware communication, and track down root causes to fix complex bugs.
  • Automated Testing: Design and maintain automation test scripts using Python to validate how embedded targets interact with the broader ecosystem

 

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • C/C++ Experience: Good hands-on experience in embedded development, and bare-metal environments.
  • OS & System Familiarity: Solid understanding of how embedded targets interface with Android (utilizing ADB/Logcat) and Windows platforms, Android shell environment.
  • Python for Automation: Proven experience writing scripts and utilizing automated frameworks to test hardware and devices.
  • Strong Debugging: Natural problem-solver who can dissect system-level logs and implement reliable hotfixes

  • Hardware Debugging & Protocols: Familiarity with CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C, and utilizing tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers to troubleshoot firmware.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 3 years of professional embedded development experience.
