Our client, a growing company in the food distribution industry, is looking for an Accounting Manager to support and lead core finance functions in a fast-paced and expanding business environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys managing financial operations, overseeing disbursements, and ensuring strong control over company funds while working closely with key stakeholders.

Location: Makati

Work Setup: Onsite

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• Manage and monitor disbursements, cash flow, and company expenditures to ensure proper utilization of funds.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and ensure timely month-end closing.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Strengthen internal controls, particularly in payables and fund management.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Job Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong experience in accounts payable, disbursements, and cash/fund management.
• Proven background in budgeting and financial planning.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly trustworthy in handling company funds.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
