About The Role

Job Purpose

The Accounts Clerk Receivables will play a vital role in managing the company’s accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all outstanding invoices are chased effectively and accurately while maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to remind them of outstanding invoices and process payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of communication with customers regarding payment issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
  • Generate regular reports on outstanding receivables and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and execute appropriate collection efforts.
  • Escalate unresolved accounts to management and recommend actions for collection.
  • Assist in the preparation of accounts receivable reconciliations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance team.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Minimum of high school passes including Mathematics and English.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software will be advantageous.
  • A background or certification in finance or accounting is a plus.
