Legacy Technologies LLC dba PacAero is looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. The position involves a high level of accuracy on intricate work. An eye for detail is critical and care for quality is essential as we pride ourselves on being a quality conscious company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing of new tooling and die inserts
• Development of new tooling
• Regular maintenance and sharpening of existing tooling
• Knowledge of setting dies and making adjustments when necessary
• Need experience in using various machines (milling; lathe and grinding machines)
• Knowledge of jigs, fixtures and gauges
• Maintenance of all tools and measuring instruments

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in precision mechanical engineering
• Good technical knowledge of drawings; equipment and machinery
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Trade qualifications in toolmaking or equivalent toolmaking experience
• Experience with multistage deep drawing an advantage
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work independently as well as with others.
• CNC experience is desirable as well as just old-fashioned toolmaking skills.
