Job Summary

D.C. Goodman & Sons is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor . Our electrical work spans general electrical, power generation, high/medium voltage distribution, and BIM-coordinated construction on new construction and renovation projects. W e're hiring an experienced Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on commercial/industrial job sites as part of a crew. This is a hands-on trad e rol e, not a supervisory position — w e're looking for someone who can work independently on assigned tasks and take direction from the f oreman .

You're Role in the Blueprint

Install, maintain , and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings
Read and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and specs
Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections per code and job specs
Perform panel work and assist with power distribution installations
Install and wire lighting and control systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in the field
Follow direction from the foreman on daily task assignments and job sequencing
Coordinate with other trades on multi-trade job sites (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection)
Follow jobsite safety practices and OSHA requirements
Maintain accurate timesheets and daily reports

Qualifications

Required

2+ years of hands-on electrical experience, ideally in commercial or industrial settings
Ability to read and work from electrical blueprints and specs
Experience with conduit runs, panel work, and general power systems
OSHA 10 certification
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites

Preferred

Experience with lighting and control systems, fire alarm systems, or higher-voltage distribution
Comfort working alongside other trades (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) on active job sites
