Job Title: Meat Processing Operative

• Annual Salary: €32,691
• Hours: 39 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor meat processing and production machinery in accordance with established production procedures.
• Prepare and set up the production line, ensuring that equipment, materials and meat products are ready for processing.
• Carry out meat processing and preparation activities using appropriate machinery and equipment.
• Handle and prepare meat products throughout the different stages of the production process.
• Operate machinery used for the processing, preparation and packaging of meat products.
• Monitor the production process and carry out routine quality checks to ensure that meat products meet the company's required standards.
• Package, label and prepare processed meat products for storage and distribution.
• Perform pre-start, hygiene and safety checks on machinery and production equipment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within meat processing and production areas.
• Identify and report equipment faults, product defects or production issues to the Line Supervisor.
• Follow food safety, health and safety, hygiene and quality-control procedures at all times.
• Complete required production and quality-control records.
• Work as part of the production team to meet daily meat processing and production targets.

Skills / Experience

• Previous production experience highly beneficial.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment highly beneficial.
