We strive to create great partnerships with our customers, contractors and supply chain partners through transparent communications, humble and curious collaboration, and a zealous focus on consistent execution of the most important 20%.ResponsibilitiesProvide transparent and unmanaged communications, escalating risks and issues that require mitigation and/or resolution.Creates and manages customer change orders in compliance with lease requirements, to include seeking necessary bids, compiling data into customer forms, and coordinating necessary approvals both internal and external.Create purchase orders for customer changes for:Data hall whitespace design (customer)Data hall whitespace OFCI (owner-furnished, contractor-installed)Data hall whitespace constructionSecurity designSecurity OFCI (owner-furnished, contractor-installed)Security constructionCommissioning whitespace and securityAttend customer calls related to design changes and design coordination calls, and track design progress against need-by dates to ensure decisions are reached in a timely fashion.Ensure project schedule is tracking to contractual dates using schedule program <tools.Work> cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Design, Finance, Security, Supply Chain,Commissioning and Operations to ensure our projects are delivered through the team <Program.In> coordination with the customer, manage the vendor bid process through the General Contractor using the team standard for bid solicitations, RFP package development, and bid proposal analysis.What You Need to SucceedExcellent communicator with executives and customers. Frequent, high-quality, transparent information flow and escalation of issues is the highest priority for this role. Transparency, curiosity, and humility are essential characteristics.Discernment and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.Comfortable with escalation and collaboration rather than handling problems on their own.This role requires project management, extreme organization and ability to juggle competing priorities across multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.3-5 years of construction experience with a competent understanding and experience in:Contract managementData center security system architectureWhite space fit out (e.g. HACs, racks, busbar, fiber)Jobsite delivery coordination or scheduling (e.g., OFCI materials and equipment)Construction payment applications, change orders, and with construction accounting processesConstruction schedulesCommissioning and project handoverComfortable with technology and adept in all Microsoft office applications.Candidate will be based primarily in the team Dallas or Toronto office location with occasional travel to jobsites (10-20% travel).Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.This role owns customer-driven changes inside leased data hall space — change orders, purchase orders, design coordination, vendor bidding through the GC, and schedule adherence through commissioning and handover. We're targeting candidates with 3–5 years of construction experience and exposure to white space fit out, delivery coordination or scheduling, contract management, and construction pay apps and change orders. The role requires the physical ability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively in a dynamic environment that includes ongoing construction activity and evolving site conditions.The work environment includes areas and temporary structures owned, leased, or controlled by third parties over which Overwatch may have limited or no control. Because the project remains under construction, certain areas of the site — including access routes, staging zones, and temporary structures — may not yet be fully ADA-compliant until construction is complete or those third-party areas are finalized.Physical RequirementsMust be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site <activity.Work> EnvironmentWork is performed primarily in and around active construction areas, which may include unfinished buildings, temporary field offices, staging areas, and partially completed infrastructure. These locations may contain uneven surfaces, limited accessibility, and other conditions typical of construction projects prior to final completion.
