We know the health of people, the planet and our business are interconnected which is why we’re taking bold actions to address some of the biggest challenges of our time, from climate change to access to healthcare and disease <prevention.As> a member of our Market Access & Pricing team, you will report to the Director, Strategic Pricing, and will be accountable for identifying and driving pricing strategies for your portfolio of products and play an active role in pCPA and private payer negotiations to implement listing agreements and drive identification of pricing opportunities in various <markets.You> provide expertise, leadership and guidance through process improvement, interactive communication and cross-functional collaboration. You build a variety of strategies, support scenario analysis as part of the market access and brand planning process, and provide insights and guidance on emerging trends, challenges and opportunities in the pricing, contracting and related market access areas aligned to our strategic <direction.In> this role, your subject matter expertise will be used for the following:Provide subject matter expertise to the pricing team as well as the local and global organization on Canadian and provincial pricing regulations and requirements for all assigned productsApplies brand knowledge and pricing expertise to build and implement pricing strategies to maximize commercial contribution for assigned portfolio across the lifecycle including launch, negotiations, loss of exclusivity and divestitureWork with pricing managers to develop financial models supporting proposed pricing strategies & identify opportunities for innovative pricing constructsActively participate in pCPA and private payer negotiations for assigned brands to optimize the commercialization of existing or emerging brandsProvides PMPRB subject matter expert for assigned products to provide insights on potential regulatory and HTA implications to pricing as well as potential mitigation strategiesResponsible for securing local and global approval for product portfolio price strategies (list, net, PSP) and ensuring public and private payer contract terms and conditions support brand objectivesProviding strategic insights on pricing, rebates, and market access agreements to ensure accurate financial reporting and appropriate accrual managementOversee contract terms and conditions, including innovative agreements, that support brand goalsCommunicate complex issues and challenges clearly and appropriately to internal and external partnersYour qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or life sciencesMinimum of 5 years related pharmaceutical industry experienceUnderstanding of pricing opportunities and considerations in various markets such as public, private, hospital, public health, etc.Strong analytical skills – forecasting, financial modelling, business impact analysis and database managementExperience with Canadian payer environment, pCPA and PMPRBStrong interpersonal, communication and time management, prioritization skills and attention to <detail.You> enjoy working and collaborating with all levels of the organization and can influence across the enterpriseExcellent oral, written, and analytical skills with demonstrated experience required in scenario planning, decision-making and solution developmentExcellent proficiency in Microsoft ExcelGreat People want to Work with us!
