The Noventiq team is looking for a Data Solutions Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern data and analytics solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on helping customers build and modernize data platforms, improve data-driven decision-making, and implement scalable analytics solutions aligned with their business needs. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with strong customer communication. The successful candidate will independently manage technical activities within customer projects, from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, implementation, and handover. RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in customer projects across the full lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to solution design, implementation, and handover, independently owning technical tasks and workstreams. Design and implement Microsoft Fabric-based data solutions and Power BI analytics solutions, including data models, data pipelines, transformations, and reporting solutions aligned with customer requirements. Work with Microsoft Azure data services and related Microsoft technologies to implement scalable cloud-based data and analytics solutions. Work directly with customers to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and present solution concepts, technical designs, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders. Support presales, discovery, and Proof of Concept / Proof of Value activities, including requirements analysis, technical solution definition, effort estimation, and technical presentations. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for improving data platforms, analytics environments, and reporting solutions. Collaborate with internal delivery teams and customer stakeholders to ensure high-quality implementation, clear technical communication, and delivery according to agreed scope and timelines. Continuously develop expertise in Microsoft data and analytics technologies and contribute to the development of new data solutions and services. REQUIREMENTS 2–5 years of professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or cloud-based data solutions. Strong practical experience with Power BI and SQL, including data modeling, report and dashboard development, data transformation, and working with relational and analytical data. Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including data engineering, data integration, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and analytics concepts, as well as a good understanding of Microsoft Azure data services. Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and communicate technical concepts clearly. Ability to independently manage technical tasks and workstreams within a project, with a proactive, problem-solving, and delivery-oriented approach. Native or near-native proficiency in Hungarian, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with customers in both technical and business contexts. Business-level proficiency in English, with the ability to participate in customer meetings, present technical solutions, and collaborate with international stakeholders. Experience in discovery, consulting, presales, or customer-facing technology projects is an advantage. Willingness to continuously develop expertise in Microsoft data and analytics technologies. NICE TO HAVE Microsoft certifications related to Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Data. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other Microsoft data services. Experience delivering Proof of Concepts or Proof of Value solutions. Familiarity with data visualization and BI best practices and experience working in Agile project environments. #LinkedInJobs
