About The Role
Position Title: Inventory Executive Department: Consumer & Pharma Reporting To: Account Delivery Manager Functional Area: Operations Role and Responsibilities: Execute inventory transactions in SAP/WMS/ERP and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, stock audits, and physical verification. Ensure system inventory matches physical stock and report discrepancies promptly. Investigate inventory variances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Coordinate with inbound, outbound, and warehouse teams to resolve inventory issues. Ensure proper stock rotation and prevent ageing, damage, pilferage, and unknown stock. Monitor stock levels, storage, bin accuracy, and FIFO/FEFO compliance. Maintain inventory reports, dashboards, audit records, and MIS reports. Ensure timely put-away and proper bin allocation of received materials. Ensure Inventory compliance with SOPs, customer standards, safety, and 5S requirements. Ensure system vs physical stock alignment Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation. Assist in implementing Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives. Guide warehouse associates on inventory processes and best practices. Escalate inventory discrepancies, damages, and operational issues to Site ADM. Ensure optimum manpower utilization to achieve daily inventory targets. Knowledge of end to end warehouse / operations management. Authority: Execute inventory transactions in SAP/WMS/ERP. Perform inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and physical stock verification. Coordinate inventory corrections with warehouse, inbound, and outbound teams. Escalate inventory discrepancies, stock variances, damages, and SOP deviations to the Inventory Manager. Recommend corrective and preventive actions for inventory-related issues. Verify inventory records and reports before submission to the Site ADM. Guide warehouse associates on inventory control procedures and best practices. Initiate investigation for stock variance Ensure proper storage, bin management, safety, and 5S compliance Recommend and support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory operations. Accountability: System vs. Physical Stock Accuracy. Ensure minimal variance (short/excess) Perform root cause analysis for every variance Ensure proper put-away and bin accuracy. Inventory discrepancies resolved within defined TAT. Timely completion of cycle counts and stock verification. Maintain audit records Monitor and reduce damage, pilferage, expiry Compliance with SOPs, FIFO/FEFO, safety, and 5S standards. Zero unknown stock and accurate bin management. Timely and accurate MIS reporting. Audit readiness with minimal inventory observations.
