Lead - Operations

Key Responsibilities Plant & Warehouse Operations Manage day-to-day plant handling and warehouse operations including inbound, storage, line feeding (if applicable), picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and compliance requirements across warehouse and plant areas. Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and productivity enhancements in warehouse workflows. Inventory Management Own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and variance control. Monitor inventory KPIs (turnover, ageing, shrinkage) and implement corrective actions . Manpower Management Plan manpower, rosters, and shifts to meet SLAs and productivity targets. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates; handle hiring, training, and performance management. SAP & Systems Use SAP for inventory transactions, stock movements, reporting, and month-end activities. Maintain data integrity in SAP and other WMS/ERP tools as applicable. Reporting & Documentation (Excel & PPT) Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports, dashboards, and MIS using advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts). Create clear, management-ready presentations (PPT) for reviews, audits, and improvement projects. Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for internal customers (production, supply chain) and external clients/3PL partners. Ensure timely order fulfilment, resolve escalations, and maintain high service levels. Communication & Coordination Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, HSE, HR, Quality) to ensure smooth operations.
