About The Role

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition (Mumbai/NCR) Reporting to: General Manager - Talent Management Job Purpose: Responsible for delivering end-to-end talent acquisition for Stores by building strong talent pipelines, ensuring timely and quality hiring, driving structured onboarding and induction programmes, and enabling a positive colleague experience that supports business performance Key Deliverables (Essential functions & Responsibilities of the Job) : Securing colleague availability & Store Hiring Governance Own regional hiring execution to ensure existing and upcoming stores have right colleagues in roles as per approved budget. Partner with Regional Managers, Store Managers and HRBPs to understand and act on vacancies, attrition trends, new store needs and peak trading requirements. Build proactive region/store role pipelines through referrals, walk-ins, local sourcing, campuses, job portals, vendors and social channels. Candidate Sourcing, Assessment & Selection Screen candidates and coordinate simple, fair and timely selection processes for all regional/store roles. Run hiring drives, walk-ins and assessment centers with hiring managers and regional stakeholders. Manage offers, negotiations, documentation, appointment letters and joining formalities as per process. Track store-wise vacancies, ageing, pipeline, offer status, joining risks and people gaps with strong follow-through. Improve candidate experience by keeping communication clear, timely and action-oriented. Internal Recruitment & Career Movement Coordinate internal recruitment/IJP processes, ensuring eligible colleagues have clear visibility and a transparent application experience. Track internal applications, shortlisting, selection status, movements, declines and feedback to improve internal mobility. Partner with Store Managers, HRBPs and Talent Management to capture readiness inputs and close feedback loops. Ensure internal and external hiring processes stay connected, simple and fair for all roles. Onboarding, Induction & Mandatory Learning Own candidate-to-colleague transition through joining communication, store introduction, buddy/coach support and induction training including mandatory trainings. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR or related field. 5-7 years experience in building teams and preferably in sourcing, screening, onboarding, introduction trainings. Ability to drive onboarding, induction and mandatory learning completion through disciplined follow-up. Ability to maintain dashboards for vacancies, pipeline, joining, IJP, induction and mandatory training completion. Strong stakeholder partnership with Regional Managers, Store Managers, HRBPs, People Operations, Learning teams and vendors.
